Do Carrot policies have a curfew?
There is no curfew on a Carrot Insurance policy, but driving late at night will have a negative effect on your Driving Style Score.
There are certain times of night (between 11pm and 5am) where drivers are at a higher risk of having an accident – and sadly, younger and more inexperienced drivers make up the majority of this.
Carrot will not increase your premium if you drive between these hours, but travelling frequently after 11 or in the early hours of the morning will have a negative impact on your Weekly Driving Style Score.
If you do drive during these hours a lot, whether for work or you’re just a night owl, our telematics insurance may not be the right type of policy for you.
