If I cancel my policy, will I lose my no claims discount?
You won’t lose the discount completely, unless you’ve made a claim – but it will stay the same as when you joined Carrot.
No claims discount (NCD) is awarded for each full year of insurance, so if you cancel mid-way through the year your no claims discount will not increase.
For example, if you joined Carrot with no previous no claims discount and cancelled 6 months into your policy having had no accidents, you will start at zero no claims discount for your next policy.
