What is telematics?
‘Telematics’ is just another word for the technology we use to record your journeys and driving style.
Using some smart motion sensors and other clever gizmos, Carrot’s telematics device collects and sends journey information to us.
It measures things like acceleration, braking, swerving, and the number and length of journeys that you make. We use this information to calculate your Driving Style Score. And it’s this score that gives you the opportunity to earn rewards for driving safely and responsibly.
